Business Information Systems proudly announces the SWIFTReady Application SEPA 2008 certification of qPayIntegrator payment HUB - the first solution endorsed by SWIFT for the SEPA track. BIS again showed its commitment to the continuous alignment of qPayIntegrator to market regulations, standards and infrastructures.
BIS will implement the updates of the common financial credit transfer and direct debit instruments, as well as the related business procedures. BIS' goal is to help banks and corporate preparing their business compliance with SEPA and Target2.
 
Sibos 2008 is Business Information Systems' first Sibos participation with its own stand - C218. BIS has invited the Romanian Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) to join its team as a stand partner. Aiming to share with Sibos participants the solutions on show, BIS and MEF have initiated the Special Interest Session on "Public Institutions in SEPA Context", scheduled to take place Tuesday, 16 September, Room Lehar4. The Sibos Special Interest Session on "Public Institutions in SEPA Context", initiated by Business Information Systems, will emphasize the Romanian Ministry's of Economy and Finance (MEF) experience in using its payment system aligned to banking standards and practice.
We believe that MEF will become a reference for other EU'-State Treasuries, after MEF successful exploitation of the interoperability of a governmental body and the business community.
MA-CUG and SCORE are laying the ground for extending a higher quality distribution channel for enhanced financial services to corporate customers. It is a great opportunity for other State Treasuries to take advantage of this business model. Join us on Tuesday, 16 September, 4 P.M., in Room Lehar4.
 
The success of SEPA also depends on the Public Administration proactive attitude for the project. An early compliance to the new standards of the Public Administrations will give a jumpstart to SEPA.

BIS and Microsoft will jointly propose the banks and corporations attending Sibos 2008 to prepare their business compliance on SEPA and on Target2, by using the SWIFTReady Application SEPA 2008 solution qPayIntegrator.
