We participated in conferences and in exhibition. Our exhibition stand, no.10, in the attached photo, with our business analysts preparing their demos. Latest business opportunities&developments (also attached) and appropriate solutions to ensure proper involvement of all stakeholders in the SEPA project were presented to the visitors.

"Trade Finance and Liquidity Management"

The announced subjects gathered banks and corporates representatives, CFOs and departmental managers from: Treasury, Transactions&Operations, Cash management. We've been honored by the presence of our SWIFT Country Manager and the ANEIR's Counselor (Romanian Exporters and Importers National Association). The presentations delivered by our business analysts and by the Senior Account Director from SWIFT on these themes were the starting point of interesting discussions. BIS' conference room guested the Users Group meeting, at its 16th edition. We gathered the member-institutions of BIS' solutions Users Group and we were honored also by the participation of representatives from the Romanian Banking Association, TransFonD and a partner solution provider acting in the European market. The partnership between Business Information Systems and Raiffeisen Bank Romania has been awarded, at the Gala of e-Finance Prizes on the 4th of March, the

for the first Romanian Anti Money Laundering software deployed solution - handling large transaction volume. Mr. Ion Stirbat, Director Sales & Marketing, Member of the Board, BIS and Mr. Ionel Fierascu - Director, Compliance Directorate, Raiffeisen Bank Romania received the prizes on behalf of the two winner companies.

15th edition 6 October 2009,

The Users Group meeting, at its 15th edition, took place in BIS' conference room. Representatives of the local financial institutions, users of BIS solutions, as well as the Romanian Banks Association's representative honored our invitation. The agenda has covered more subjects than ever, with latest updates, products demos, activity reports, Sibos Hong Kong impressions (technical & business). The invitees received all related documentation on CDs. As usual, we took some onsite pictures, please see attached.

Romanian presence at SIBOS 2009 – Hong Kong

"Romania was represented at this event by a delegation consisting of National Bank of Romania, Romanian Banks Association, TransFond SA and SC BIS SRL representatives. Within SIBOS, SC BIS SRL had its own booth in which they’ve promoted services offered by the Romanian company to Asian banks which plan to open branches in South-Eastern Europe. The message built by the Romanian company has focused on presenting a financial chain consisting of: solution vendor (BIS) ↔ central public institution ↔ credit institution, to show the compliance of payments activities and SEPA EPC (European Payment Council) regulated initiative, through BIS’ solution for credit institutions, corporates and governmental institutions."

BIS' workshops on SEPA Project

We initiated and hosted a series of three workshops, on SEPA Project related issues. Given the increased number of confirmed guests, our initiative was very well received by corporates and financial institutions.
These interactive workshops enabled the exchange of views between the participants regarding the SEPA Project. Our business experts' presentations can be provided upon request.
